Larkin (abdomen) told reporters he anticipates being cleared in time for training camp ahead of the 2022-23 campaign, Max Bultman of The Athletic reports. Despite being able to play in just 71 games this year, Larkin still managed to post 69 points this year, the second-highest total in his seven-year NHL career. Barring any setbacks during the summer, Larkin should be ready to play come Opening Night and should once again challenge for the 70-point threshold.... See More ... See Less

Red Wings' Dylan Larkin: Season over
Larkin will miss the rest of the 2021-22 campaign after undergoing core muscle surgery Monday. Larkin will come up just one point shy of recording his second 70-point campaign in his seven-year NHL career finishing with 31 goals and 38 helpers. With an expected recovery time of 8-to-10 weeks, Larkin should be fully cleared and ready to go for the start of next season. The 25-year-old Michigan native should be capable of challenging for both the 30-goal and 70-point threshold next year.... See More ... See Less -
Red Wings' Dylan Larkin: Fantastic April continues
Larkin delivered an assist in Thursday's 3-0 win over the Hurricanes. Even though Detroit is clearly out of the playoff picture, Larkin continues to play his heart out. The 25-year-old captain has three goals and four assists for a point-per-game pace in April, and all of that production has taken place at even strength. With 31 goals and 38 assists on the season ledger, Larkin is five points away from a new career high.... See More ... See Less -

Larkin's mired in an eight-game goal drought, and this was his first multi-point performance over that stretch, yet Detroit's first-line center is still above a point-per-game pace this season with 61 in 58.... Larkin is riding a seven-game point streak during which he has been absolutely tearing it up with six goals and eight helpers, including four power-play points.
