Marner picked up two power-play assists in a 4-2 win over the Jets on Saturday. Marner helped Auston Matthews reach the 40-goal mark on a two-man advantage later in the frame. The 26-year old Marner's 33rd assist of the season gave Matthews his 600th NHL point, making him the fastest Maple Leaf to ever get there. Marner scored a goal and added an assist in a 6-4 loss to Vancouver on Saturday. Marner tied the game 4-4 early in the third period when he stole the puck at the Vancouver blue line while shorthanded and scored high glove on a breakaway. It was his 20th marker of the season, and it extended his scoring streak to four contests (three goals, two assists). Marner has hit the 20-goal mark six times in eight seasons, and his 50 points project to another 90-plus point campaign -- it would be Marner's third consecutive and fourth of his career.

  • Maple Leafs' Mitchell Marner: Four points in Tuesday's rout

Marner produced two goals and two assists, with one of each coming on the power play, in Tuesday's 7-1 win over the Sharks. The 26-year-old tied his season high with his third four-point performance. Marner has never posted a 100-point campaign in his career despite his own talent and the stars surrounding him on the Toronto roster, but 2023-24 could be the season -- over his last 13 games, Marner's racked up eight goals and 18 points.

  • Maple Leafs' Mitchell Marner: Snipes goal on power play

Marner scored a goal in a 4-1 win over the Sharks on Saturday. Marner opened the scoring at 15:22 of the first period, scoring with a one-timer from the left circle on a 5-on-3 power play. He has one goal and one helper in his past two outings to give him 40 points through 37 contests this season. Unfortunately, he has found the scoresheet in just four of his last nine games, earning two goals and four assists during that span. He did the same in November, putting up points (three goals, three assists) in three of nine contests from Nov. 8-Nov. 30. Fantasy managers would probably prefer steady production rather than bursts and quiet stretches, but Marner is still having a strong season overall.

  • Maple Leafs' Mitchell Marner: Two points in OT loss

Marner produced a goal and an assist in Friday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Blue Jackets. Both points came in the first period, giving the Leafs an early lead they eventually squandered. Marner has six multi-point performances in the last 13 games, a stretch in which the 26-year-old has amassed nine goals and 18 points -- an impressive goal-scoring run considering he'd found the back of the net only five times in his first 20 contests this season.

  • Maple Leafs' Mitchell Marner: Two apples in win

Marner delivered two assists, one of which came on the power play, in a 4-1 win over Columbus on Saturday. Marner now has 36 points, including 23 helpers, through 31 games this season. He had a bit of a sluggish start for his standards, but remains an excellent fantasy play. Being back on a line with Auston Matthews is a big boost to his fantasy potential. You might be able to get Marner in a deal if his fantasy managers are growing impatient. There's a misperception that his season isn't the greatest, but that window is closing fast.

  • Maple Leafs' Mitchell Marner: Early-season frustrations long gone

Marner scored a goal and added an assist Saturday in a 7-0 win over the Penguins. It was Marner's third consecutive multi-point game (four goals, four assists), and it stretched his point streak to four games and nine points. He also has points in seven of his last eight games (eight goals, six assists). Marner has put his early-season frustrations behind him, and he's back on pace for a possible 100-point campaign. Beware his 20.6 shooting percentage, though -- it's significantly above his 13.0 career average, so his goal scoring will likely slow. With 13 in 28 games, Marner is on a 38-goal pace.

  • Maple Leafs' Mitchell Marner: Three-game, seven-point streak

Marner had a goal and two assists in Thursday's 6-5 overtime loss to Columbus. He, Auston Matthews and William Nylander combined for eight points in a wild five-goal third period to force overtime. Marner's snipe was pretty -- he drove the net and shot from between his legs from in tight. He's on a three-game, seven-point streak (three goals, four assists), and he has put up points in six of his last seven contests (seven goals, five assists). Marner was hard on himself earlier in the season, likely because he felt he should be delivering more offense. So it's nice to see him relaxed and very productive right now. Another 90-point season is possible with that malaise behind him.

Marner scored two goals, one the game-winner and the other on the power play, while adding an assist in Tuesday's 7-3 win over the Rangers. It's Marner's second three-point effort in the last six games after he notched a hat trick Nov. 30 against the Kraken. The 26-year-old is comfortably cruising toward his third straight 30-goal, 90-point campaign, racking up 11 goals and 29 points through 26 contests.

  • Maple Leafs' Mitchell Marner: Goal-scoring outburst

Marner delivered a hat trick Thursday in a 4-3 shootout win over the Kraken. It was all Marner, all night. Not only did he end an eight-game goal drought, but he also scored the winner in the shootout. Marner has 23 points in 21 games, a total that most NHLers would count as otherworldly. But not Marner, whose body language on the ice to date has bordered on outright frustration. But with the goals, he's back on pace for his third straight 30-goal season. Marner was shifted to John Tavares' line recently, and it looks like coach Sheldon Keefe's decision to shuffle the lines was likely a good one. Now to get Auston Matthews rolling.

  • Maple Leafs' Mitchell Marner: Records two assists

Marner garnered a pair of helpers in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Wild. Marner has notched three assists in his last two games but is stuck in a five-game goal drought. During his slump, the winger generated 10 shots on goal along with six blocked shots and four hits. With his role on the power play, Marner should break out of his drought sooner rather than later, though he remains a high-end playmaker rather than a pure scorer.

  • Maple Leafs' Mitchell Marner: Has another four-point game

Marner netted a goal and registered three assists in a 6-5 overtime victory over Tampa Bay on Monday. Marner not only extended his scoring streak to seven games, but he also supplied his second straight four-point performance. Through 12 outings this year, the 26-year-old has five goals and 17 points. He just barely missed the 100-point milestone in 2018-19 (94 points), 2021-22 (97) and 2022-23 (99). As long as he stays healthy, there's a good chance this will be the season Marner crosses the century mark.
