Lyubimov agreed to terms on a two-year deal with Magnitogorsk Metallurg on Thursday.
Lyubimov logged 47 games with the Flyers in 2016-17, but seems to have decided against returning to the NHL any time soon. At this point, it may not be worth stashing the winger even in deeper formats, given his apparent disinterest in giving the NHL another shot.

Roman Lyubimov: Signs with KHL squad
Lyubimov inked a three-year deal with CSKA Moscow of the KHL on Monday, Stephen Whyno of the Associated Press reports.
Lyubimov returns to the KHL after just one season with the Flyers in which he saw action in 47 outings and tallied a mere six points. The 25-year-old becomes one of the first players to cite the desire to play in the 2018 Winter Olympics as part of the reason for leaving for an overseas league. The winger has the talent to play in the NHL and could be back at some point.

Flyers' Roman Lyubimov: Watches eighth consecutive game
Lyubimov was a healthy scratch for the eighth straight game Tuesday against Ottawa.
The 24-year-old rookie has played 46 games this season, but he's averaged just 9:33 of ice time and notched only five points. He could draw back into the lineup again before the end of the season, but his fantasy value is clearly extremely limited.

Flyers' Roman Lyubimov: Sits out against Sabres
Lyubimov was a healthy scratch for the second consecutive game Tuesday against Buffalo.
The rookie has now dressed for just one of the past five games. The deadline acquisition of Valtteri Filppula and emergence of Jordan Weal has likely pushed Lyubimov out of the lineup for the time being. The 25-year-old winger also has just five points through 45 games this season, so he shouldn't be relied on in any fantasy format at this stage of the game.

Flyers' Roman Lyubimov: Rare goal serves as game-winner
Lyubimov scored the game-winning goal with 2:37 left in the third period of Thursday's 2-1 victory over Toronto.
He picked the puck up out of a scramble and fired it home for his first point since Dec. 14; the Russian winger spent almost all of his time between then and Thursday on the fourth line, with stints in the press box and the AHL as well. Considering his meager total of four goals and one assist as well as his miserly ice time, there's not much to see here from a fantasy perspective.

The Flyers recalled Lyubimov from AHL Lehigh Valley on Friday, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Lyubimov only has four points in 28 games this season, and isn't a viable option in most fantasy formats. The 24-year-old winger could crack the Flyers' lineup as soon as Saturday against Tampa Bay.

The Flyers loaned Lyubimov to AHL Lehigh Valley on Wednesday.
Lyubimov has appeared in 11 games with the Flyers this season, but has only managed to score a single goal while averaging 9:14 of ice time over that span. The 24-year-old winger will likely get an opportunity to log heavy minutes in the minors, which will be far more beneficial to his development than sitting in a bottom-six role with the big club. Although he's likely in for an extended stay with Philly's AHL affiliate, Lyubimov will probably get another opportunity to skate with the Flyers later this season.

Lyubimov scored a third-period goal on his only shot on net during Wednesday's win over the Red Wings.
Lyubimov played only 11:33 during the game and has just 11 shots on net over his first eight games of 2016-17. His fantasy value is extremely limited. He recorded 14 points -- seven goals -- over 52 games with CSKA Moskow last year, so the 24-year-old rookie is unlikely to develop into much of an offensive threat during his first season in North America.
