Lauzon scored a goal on two shots in Monday's 4-3 victory over Colorado. Lauzon scored his first goal of the season with his tally versus the Avs. On the year, the 26-year-old blueliner has managed just two points and is offering more fantasy production from hits (2.35 per game). Considering the Quebec native set a career-high last season with 12 points, he is unlikely to significantly increase his production this time around.... See More ... See Less

Predators' Jeremy Lauzon: Ready to rock
Lauzon (undisclosed) will play in Nashville's regular-season opener against Tampa Bay on Tuesday, per Emma Lingan of the Predators' official site. Lauzon, who left a preseason game early against Carolina on Oct. 5, is slated to play alongside Tyson Barrie on the third defense pairing to open the 2023-24 season. The 26-year-old Lauzon accounted for 12 points, 66 PIM, 77 shots on goal, 75 blocked shots and 250 hits in 67 games last campaign.... See More ... See Less -
Predators' Jeremy Lauzon: Status uncertain after early exit
Lauzon (undisclosed) sustained an injury during Thursday's preseason game versus the Hurricanes, Nick Kieser of Nashville Hockey Now reports. Lauzon went down the tunnel late in the game and couldn't return. Head coach Andrew Brunette didn't provide any specifics on the defenseman's status. Lauzon appears to have the inside edge for a third-pairing job if he's able to shake off the injury before Opening Night.... See More ... See Less -
Predators' Jeremy Lauzon: Skates at practice
Lauzon (upper body) practiced with Group B during Thursday's on-ice session to begin Predators training camp, Nick Kieser of Nashville Hockey Now reports. The 26-year-old defenseman had a career-high 12 points with 250 hits, 75 blocked shots, 66 PIM and a minus-11 rating over 67 contests last year. He's set to fill a bottom-pairing role this season.... Predators' Jeremy Lauzon: Return not imminent
Lauzon (upper body) is one of a handful of players that general manager David Poile said wasn't close to getting back on the ice, Robby Stanley of 102.5 The Game reports Tuesday. Given Lauzon has yet to resume skating, fantasy players should probably consider him out indefinitely for the time being. Even once cleared to play, the Quebec native shouldn't be expected to offer much in the way of fantasy value with his limited offensive upside, though he can certainly dish out hits as he is averaging 3.73 per game.... Predators' Jeremy Lauzon: Unavailable Monday
Lauzon (upper body) will not play Monday against Dallas, per the NHL's media site. Lauzon will miss a second straight game after getting injured Thursday against the Penguins. Predators' Jeremy Lauzon: Scores rare goal Saturday
Lauzon notched his first goal of the season in Saturday's overtime loss to the Golden Knights. While it's nice to see him finally bulge the twine, Lauzon remains more of a hitter than a scorer. He has just three points in 28 games this season (1G, 2A) but sits second on the team in hits with 92. As such, his fantasy value remains quite limited in most standard formats.... See More ... Predators' Jeremy Lauzon: Ruled out versus Blues
Lauzon is day-to-day with an upper-body injury and won't be available against St. Louis on Monday. In addition to Lauzon, the Predators will also be without Alexandre Carrier (upper body), though Carrier is expected to be sidelined longer. As such, Nashville recalled Kevin Gravel and Roland McKeown from AHL Milwaukee and will immediately slot both defensemen into the lineup. The 25-year-old Lauzon has a lone point in 21 outings this season, which means his absence could go largely unnoticed by fantasy players.... See More ... See Less -

Lauzon skated a season-low 8:48 in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Senators. Lauzon has just a single assist in 21 games this season, which gives him close to zero fantasy value in most formats.
