  • Golden Knights' Carl Lindbom: Sent down Sunday

Lindbom was reassigned to AHL Henderson on Sunday, according to SinBin.vegas. Carter Hart (suspension) was recalled from his conditioning loan with the Silver Knights on Saturday and is eligible to suit up Tuesday versus the Blackhawks, which resulted in Lindbom's demotion. The 22-year-old Lindbom made seven appearances with the big club, posting a 1-4-2 record, 3.14 GAA and .870 save percentage. The 2021 seventh-round pick will now shift his focus to working on his game in the minors.

  • Golden Knights' Carl Lindbom: Hangs on for first win

Lindbom stopped 18 of 21 shots in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Sharks. The Golden Knights surged to a 4-1 lead in the second period, but the Sharks got two goals back before the intermission. Lindbom was able to protect the lead over the final 20 minutes to secure his first NHL win. He improved to 1-4-2 with a 3.14 GAA and an .870 save percentage over seven appearances, and he's allowed three goals in each of his last six outings. Vegas potentially has a decision to make before Tuesday's matchup versus the Blackhawks, as Carter Hart (suspension) will be eligible to play. The Golden Knights could opt to carry three goalies after Hart's performance on his conditioning stint was less than impressive, but Lindbom could also be sent down to AHL Henderson to make room. Clarity on the Vegas crease should come soon, though that should also be temporary, as Adin Hill (lower body), who is week-to-week, will probably return eventually.

  • Golden Knights' Carl Lindbom: Slated starter Saturday

Lindbom is expected to start at home against San Jose on Saturday, Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports. Lindbom is still searching for his first NHL victory -- the 22-year-old rookie is 0-4-2 with a 3.16 GAA and an .872 save percentage in six outings. It might be his last opportunity to show up in the win column during this stint with Vegas. Lindbom will probably be sent to the minors once Carter Hart (suspension) is eligible to start playing with the Golden Knights on Monday. The Sharks are 12-10-3 and tied for 24th in goals per game with 2.80.

  • Golden Knights' Carl Lindbom: Remains winless

Lindbom allowed three goals on 22 shots in Monday's 5-1 loss to the Mammoth. The last two Utah goals were empty-netters. Lindbom did a decent job of keeping the game close despite the success of the Mammoth's second line. The 22-year-old faced just a 2-1 deficit after two periods, but Logan Cooley scored three of his four goals in the game during the third, with the last two going into the empty net, to make the final score look worse than it was. Lindbom has yet to find the win column this season, going 0-4-2 with a 3.16 GAA and an .872 save percentage in six outings. His time to make a positive impression is running low, as Carter Hart (suspension) is eligible to play with the big club Dec. 1, at which point Lindbom will likely be returned to AHL Henderson. Lindbom figures to get one more start in the NHL, either Friday versus the Canadiens or Saturday versus the Sharks.

  • Golden Knights' Carl Lindbom: Set to start in Salt Lake City

Lindbom will occupy the road crease Monday against the Mammoth, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports. Lindbom has yet to find the win column this season, going 0-3-2 with an .874 save percentage and a 3.18 GAA through five appearances. The Mammoth are coming off a 3-2 win over the Rangers on Saturday, but they had lost their last four games prior to that victory. Utah has an 11-8-3 record and is tied for 18th in the league with 3.00 goals per game in 2025-26.

  • Golden Knights' Carl Lindbom: Tending twine against Minnesota

Lindbom will serve as the starting goaltender during Sunday's road game against the Wild, Dylan Loucks of The Hockey News reports. Lindbom has split time in net with Akira Schmid while Adin Hill (lower body) has been sidelined. However, Lindbom hasn't yet picked up his first win this year, going 0-3-1 with a 3.29 GAA and .869 save percentage. He'll draw the start in the second half of a back-to-back set Sunday and will have a relatively favorable matchup against the Wild, who are scoring just 2.74 goals per game this year, which is the seventh-worst mark in the league.

  • Golden Knights' Carl Lindbom: First goalie off Monday

Lindbom was the first goalie off during Monday's morning skate, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports, indicating that he'll draw the home start against the Panthers. Lindbom has yet to enter the win column this season, as he's gone 0-2-1 with a 3.35 GAA and .873 save percentage over his three starts for the Golden Knights. However, he's been in a timeshare with Akira Schmid while Adin Hill (lower body) has been sidelined, and that trend will continue Monday. The Panthers have struggled offensively early this season, scoring just 2.60 goals per game, which is tied for the fourth-worst mark in the NHL.

  • Golden Knights' Carl Lindbom: Tough outing against Lightning

Lindbom stopped 21 of 26 shots in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Lightning. The sixth goal was an empty-netter. Lindbom is still in search of his first win at the NHL level, as this defeat sent him to 0-2-1 on the year. He's faced the Lightning in both of the Golden Knights' games against them, but he didn't fare as well on home ice as he did in Tampa on Oct. 26. With 10 goals allowed on 79 shots over three appearances, Lindbom is a risky option for fantasy managers. The Golden Knights will likely turn back to Akira Schmid for a tough home matchup versus the Ducks on Saturday.

  • Golden Knights' Carl Lindbom: Starting against Colorado

Lindbom will defend the home crease against the Avalanche on Friday, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports. Lindbom performed relatively well in his NHL debut in Tampa on Sunday, turning aside 26 of 28 shots (.929 save percentage) in the 2-1 overtime loss. He'll draw the Nevada Day start for Vegas on Friday but will face a tough test in his first action at T-Mobile Arena, as the Avalanche are tied for second in the NHL with 3.73 goals per game to begin the season.

  • Golden Knights' Carl Lindbom: Summoned Wednesday

Lindbom was recalled from AHL Henderson on Wednesday. Lindbom has a 1.00 GAA and a .958 save percentage in two appearances with Henderson this year. He will join the big club after Adin Hill sustained a lower-body injury in Monday's win over Carolina. Vegas plays in Florida on Saturday and visits Tampa Bay on Sunday, which could give Lindbom a chance to make his NHL debut if Hill isn't available. Akira Schmid would likely get the other start.

  • Golden Knights' Carl Lindbom: Shuts out AHL Ontario

Lindbom posted an 18-save shutout in AHL Henderson's 2-0 win over Ontario on Friday. The Golden Knights had an injury scare with Adin Hill earlier in the week, but they ultimately didn't need to make a move. That allowed Lindbom to stay with the minor-league club, and he delivered his first shutout of the 2025-26 campaign for Henderson. The 22-year-old has allowed two goals on 48 shots over his two starts this season. Lindbom will likely get at least half of the Silver Knights' starts for a bit, but he could lose some playing time later on once Carter Hart is allowed to play in minor-league games to get up to speed.

  • Golden Knights' Carl Lindbom: In goal Tuesday

Lindbom will guard the road goal versus the Avalanche in Tuesday's preseason game. Lindbom is in line for his second appearance of the preseason. He allowed a goal on 11 shots in his previous outing. Regardless of his performance, he is likely to begin the year with AHL Henderson, as Akira Schmid looks set to be the backup to Adin Hill at the NHL level.
