This was Heiskanen's fifth helper over the last four games, but he hasn't scored a goal since Oct. 19. The 24-year-old defenseman has 12 points, 36 shots on net, 31 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating through 17 contests while averaging a substantial 25:18 of ice time per game.... See More ... Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Reaches 10-assist mark
Heiskanen posted a power-play assist, two shots on goal and two blocked shots in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Coyotes. Heiskanen set up a Roope Hintz tally in the second period. With six helpers over his last five games, Heiskanen has bounced back after an inconsistent stretch earlier in the campaign. The 24-year-old blueliner is up to 11 points (six on the power play), 33 shots on net, 29 blocks and a plus-1 rating through 15 contests. With the Stars' power play gaining traction, Heiskanen and the teams' high-end forwards should be on the rise.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Three power-play points in win
Heiskanen picked up three assists in Sunday's 8-3 win over the Wild. All three of Heiskanen's assists came on the power play. He set up Joe Pavelski early in the first period before adding helpers on a pair of Jason Robertson goals in the third. It's been a slow start offensively for the 24-year-old Heiskanen after breaking out for 73 points in the 2022-23 campaign, as he came in with just three assists in his last nine games. He now has a goal and 10 assists through 14 games this season.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Dishes pair of helpers
Heiskanen logged two assists, eight shots on goal and two blocked shots in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Bruins. Even with the Stars dressing seven defensemen, Heiskanen had 25:25 of ice time in the narrow loss. The blueliner has three helpers over his last three games since he snapped a four-game point drought. For the season, Heiskanen is at one goal, six assists, 23 shots on net, 21 blocked shots, nine hits and a plus-1 rating through 11 contests.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Offers assist in win
Heiskanen recorded an assist, five blocked shots and two hits in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Oilers. The helper snapped a four-game point drought for Heiskanen. He had just two stretches of futility of that length in 2022-23. The Finn has struggled a bit early this season with a goal and four assists through nine contests. He's added 14 shots on net, 17 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating.... See More ... See Less -

Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Leads Stars to victory
Heiskanen provided the game-winning goal and two power-play assists in a 3-2 victory over Anaheim on Thursday. After being held off the scoresheet in his first two appearances this season, Heiskanen led the Stars' offense Thursday. We're likely to see more games like this out of the 24-year-old defenseman in the future. Heiskanen had 11 goals and 73 points in 79 contests in 2022-23, including four games in which he recorded at least three points.... See More ... See Less -

He's at one goal, 11 assists (nine on the power play), 30 shots on net, 29 blocked shots, 23 hits and a minus-3 rating through 17 playoff outings.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Opens scoring in OT loss
Heiskanen opened the scoring in Game 2, but it wasn't enough, as the Stars took a 3-2 overtime loss to the Golden Knights on Sunday. Heiskanen came into this game with nine assists through 14 playoff games, but Sunday's first-period goal was his first of the postseason. He's playing big minutes and has managed to stay out of the penalty box entirely in the last nine games, but Heiskanen's averaging a modest 1.6 shots per game. While the Finn isn't a non-factor on the scoresheet, he isn't the most offensively gifted defender left in the postseason, either.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Nabs power-play helper
Heiskanen produced a power-play assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Kraken in Game 6. The Kraken have limited Heiskanen's contributions on offense to three assists (two on the power play) through six second-round contests. The defenseman is at nine helpers, 22 shots on net, 22 blocked shots, 11 hits and a plus-1 rating through 12 playoff outings. Heiskanen's last goal was March 21 versus the Kraken.... See More ... Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Earns helper Tuesday
Heiskanen provided a power-play assist, three shots on goal, two hits and a minus-2 rating in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Kraken in Game 4. Heiskanen left Game 3 early after taking a puck to the face, but aside from a gash on his cheek, he was no worse for wear Tuesday. The 23-year-old played a game-high 31:02 of ice time, helping to cover for the absence of Jani Hakanpaa (lower body). Heiskanen hasn't scored in the playoffs, but he has eight assists (six on the power play), 19 shots on net, 18 blocked shots, seven hits and an even plus-minus rating through 10 contests.... Stars' Miro Heiskanen: On track to play
Heiskanen (upper body) is taking warmups and is expected to play in Tuesday's Game 4 versus the Kraken, Saad Yousuf of The Athletic reports. Heiskanen participated in the morning skate and always seemed to be more probable than questionable to play. The 23-year-old defenseman should be good to go in his usual all-situations role after he was hit in the face by a puck in Game 3.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Game-time decision Tuesday
Heiskanen (upper body) will be a game-time decision Tuesday against Seattle, Ryan S. Clark of ESPN reports. Heiskanen took part in the morning skate and appears to be trending toward being available to play in Game 4. He was forced to leave Sunday's 7-2 loss to the Kraken in the second period after being struck in the face by a deflected puck. Heiskanen has compiled seven assists, 16 shots on goal and 17 blocked shots in nine contests this postseason.... See More ... See Less -

Heiskanen took a shot off the face early in the second period and immediately left the contest. He posted a minus-1 rating in 11:12 of ice time prior to the injury. The 23-year-old has seven assists in nine postseason games but just one has come in this series against the Kraken. An update on his status should be available before Game 4 on Tuesday.... Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Sends power-play assist in win
Heiskanen notched a power-play assist, blocked three shots, fired two shots on goal, went plus-2 and added two PIM in Tuesday's 4-0 win over the Wild in Game 5. Heiskanen wasn't able to get on the scoresheet in the two games in Minnesota, but he has six helpers (five on the power play) through three games in Dallas. The star defenseman has added 12 shots on net, 12 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating through five playoff outings. With the Stars punishing the Wild on the power play, Heiskanen should be able to close out the series strong on offense.... See More ... See Less -

Three of his four helpers came on the power play, as the Stars continue to dominate the special-teams battle. Heiskanen has five helpers, seven shots on net, four blocked shots and a plus-2 rating through two postseason contests. The 23-year-old defenseman will continue to eat big minutes as the Stars' top blueliner, and it appears his 73-point form from the regular season has carried over to the playoffs.... See More ... Heiskanen racked up 12 assists over the last 11 games of the regular season, though he didn't have a goal in that span. The 23-year-old defenseman kept his offense rolling to begin the playoffs, setting up Jason Robertson's second-period marker Monday. Heiskanen had a career year with 73 points (34 on the power play), 206 shots on net and 96 blocked shots in 79 outings. He played 41:42 during Monday's marathon game, and he'll continue to be counted on for big minutes during the Stars' playoff run.... See More ... See Less -
