  • Flyers' Morgan Frost: Pots 10th goal

Frost scored his 10th goal of the season in Thursday's 4-1 loss to Chicago. The 23-year-old started a 3-on-1 rush from his own end midway through the first period that quickly became a 3-on-3, and in the confusion of bodies he ripped a shot top shelf over Petr Mrazek from the slot. Frost has a couple of four-point performances over the last six weeks, but those have been the only two games in which he's scored more than a point since the Flyers' season opener. Still, the outbursts have fueled a productive stretch in which Frost has seven goals and 16 points over his last 18 games.

  • Flyers' Morgan Frost: Scores in Philly win

Frost scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 5-2 win over Anaheim. Frost extended the Flyers' lead to 3-1 late in the second period, scoring an impressive between-the-legs goal from a tough angle. It's the first goal since Jan. 2 for Frost, who's been playing on Philadelphia's top line alongside James van Riemsdyk and Owen Tippett. The 23-year-old Frost now has nine goals and 12 assists in 44 games this season.

  • Flyers' Morgan Frost: Provides four assists Thursday

Frost registered four assists in a 6-2 win against Arizona on Thursday. Two of Frost's helpers were recorded while Philadelphia was on the power play. He has eight goals and 19 points in 38 games this season, including three points with the man advantage. He had been limited to just an assist in his previous seven contests.

  • Flyers' Morgan Frost: Tallies in Monday's win

Frost scored a goal on four shots in Monday's 4-1 win over the Ducks. Frost's tally 10:36 into the first period held up as the game-winner. He'd gone three games without a goal entering Monday, but he also scored in each of the three contests prior to that stretch. The 23-year-old is up to eight tallies, 15 points, 62 shots on net, 42 hits and a minus-2 rating through 37 outings this season. He should continue to see top-six minutes.

  • Flyers' Morgan Frost: Logs four points Sunday

Frost tallied a goal and three assists in Sunday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Coyotes. Frost was involved in all four of Philadelphia's goals Sunday. He got the Flyers on the board in the second period, tying the game 1-1, before assisting on their next three tallies. The 23-year-old center hasn't produced much offensively this season -- he came into the contest with just one point in his last eight games. Frost will look to build on Sunday's performance, which brought him up to 10 points (four goals, six assists) through 28 games.

  • Flyers' Morgan Frost: Nets assist in win

Frost notched an assist in Monday's victory over Colorado. With the assist, Frost has three goals and three helpers through 25 games. Frost is in an increased role -- averaging 14:24 of ice time and 2:11 on the power play. However, he isn't providing much fantasy value and should probably be held off your roster until the offense picks up.

  • Flyers' Morgan Frost: Scores rare opening tally

Frost scored a goal and registered three shots during Wednesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the host Capitals. With the way the Flyers have been outplayed during the first stanza, Frost on Wednesday gave his teammates something they haven't experienced much recently, an early advantage. The 22-year-old center's third tally this season was his first in 18 games, dating back to his two-goal effort during the season-opener Oct. 13. The Flyers have been outscored 23-13 during the opening 20 minutes this season.

  • Flyers' Morgan Frost: Snaps point drought

Frost collected an assist during Tuesday's overtime loss to Columbus. The assist ended a lengthy 11-game point drought for Frost. • Flyers' Morgan Frost: Strong start with two goals

Frost scored twice, including the game winner, in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Devils. Frost pushed the score to 3-1 at the half-way mark of the second period on a one-timer off a pass from behind the net and then picked up an empty netter that went off a Devils' stick and in. He's already proven that he can excel at the junior and AHL levels, but he needs to show that he can do it at the next level. Frost is coming off a strong preseason where he led the team in scoring (three assists) and says he's finally healthy after shoulder surgery in 2020-21. But he needs a strong start to show that he's worthy of staying in the top-nine once Sean Couturier (back) returns later this month. So far, so good.

  • Flyers' Morgan Frost: Serves on top line Tuesday

Frost played on the Flyers' top line alongside James van Riemsdyk and Travis Konecny during Tuesday's preseason game against Buffalo, per Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia. Frost has contributed two assists in two preseason games. He had five goals and 16 points in 55 games while averaging a modest 13:55 minutes last season, but he has an opportunity to play a bigger role in 2022-23 with Claude Giroux now in Ottawa, Sean Couturier (back) sidelined indefinitely, and Patrick Brown (back) week-to-week.

  • Flyers' Morgan Frost: Signs one-year extension

Frost signed a one-year, $800,000 contract extension with the Flyers on Friday. Frost drew into 55 games with the Flyers last season, picking up five goals and 16 points while averaging 13:55 of ice time through 55 contests. The 23-year-old forward may have a slightly larger role in 2022-23, but he likely won't produce enough offense to warrant fantasy consideration.

  • Flyers' Morgan Frost: Gets scoring started against Pitt

Frost had a goal and an assist in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Penguins. Frost opened the scoring in the first period on a goal assisted by Noah Cates before returning the favor on Cates' second-period tally. With goals in consecutive games after a 10-game drought in that category, Philadelphia's 2017 first-round pick is wrapping up his busiest NHL season yet on a high note.

  • Flyers' Morgan Frost: Nets lone goal in loss

Frost scored a power-play goal in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Wild. Frost spoiled Marc-Andre Fleury's shutout bid early in the third period as the Wild were unsuccessful in killing off a double-minor to Tyson Jost. The 22-year-old Frost has picked up a goal and two assists in 10 games since his most recent promotion from AHL Lehigh Valley. For the season, the Ontario native has struggled a bit with 10 points, 46 shots on net and a minus-13 rating in 40 contests. He figures to see mostly third-line usage for the rest of the campaign.

Frost (illness) is expected to be in the lineup Tuesday versus the Jets, Adam Kimelman of NHL.com reports. • Flyers' Morgan Frost: Game-time call Tuesday

Frost is under the weather and will be a game-time decision versus the Jets on Tuesday, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports. Technically, Frost is still on the taxi squad but is in line to be elevated to the active roster if he can play Tuesday. If not, the Flyers will instead use fellow taxi-squad member Jackson Cates versus the Jets. The 22-year-old Frost remains stuck in a 13-game goal drought dating back to Dec. 30 versus the Sharks.

  • Flyers' Morgan Frost: Added to active roster

Frost was elevated to the active roster Thursday. Frost has averaged 13:06 of ice time -- 1:49 during the power-play -- and has logged six points over 16 appearances this season. The 22-year-old was elevated because Sean Couturier (upper body) is expected to remain on injured reserve through the week. Frost may not see much of a role on the power play with Ivan Provorov and Cam Atkinson both healthy.
