  • Lightning's Grant Mismash: Traded to Tampa Bay

Mismash and Philippe Myers were acquired by the Lightning from the Predators in exchange for Ryan McDonagh on Sunday. Mismash is yet to make his NHL debut, but he spent last season skating for the Milwaukee Admirals, Nashville's American Hockey League affiliate. He appeared in 57 games and had a total of six goals and 12 points in his inaugural pro season.

  • Predators' Grant Mismash: Inks entry-level contract

Mismash signed a two-year, entry-level contract with the Predators on Monday. The 2017 second-round pick opted to sign with the Predators instead of hitting free agency this summer. The 22-year-old spent the last four years at the University of North Dakota, collecting 32 goals and 71 points across 117 games. Mismash is expected to report to AHL Chicago.

  • Predators' Grant Mismash: Recovered from knee injury

Mismash (knee) is fully recovered from a knee injury suffered in late January. The 2017 second-rounder (61st overall) suffered a season-ending knee injury last January but recovered in time to suit up for each of the University of North Dakota's first two 2019-20 contests. Mismash has picked up a goal and an assist in those two games. His stock has decreased since he was drafted, but Mismash still has a chance to make it as a bottom-six grinder.

  • Predators' Grant Mismash: Season likely over due to knee injury

Mismash (knee) is likely done for the season, Brad Schlossman of the Grand Forks Herald reports. The news comes directly from North Dakota head coach Brad Berry. Mismash was injured late in Saturday's contest against St. Cloud State following a knee-on-knee collision with Huskies defender and captain Jimmy Schuldt. No penalty was called on the play. If his season is indeed over, the 2017 second-round selection (61st overall) finishes his sophomore campaign with just five goals and nine points in 21 contests for North Dakota.
