Bow inked a one-year contract with Czech club Kladno on Thursday. Bow hasn't appeared in an NHL game since the 2018-19 campaign, when he made two relief appearances for Dallas in which he stopped 18 of 19 shots. A strong performance playing for Kladno could see the 25-year-old netminder earn his way back into the NHL, though it won't be an easy path.... See More ... See Less

Stars' Landon Bow: Back from AHL
Bow was recalled from AHL Texas to the taxi squad Monday. Bow was sent down to get some playing time. He has played two AHL games this season, recording an .889 save percentage and a 3.20 GAA. Bow will practice and travel with the team while on the taxi squad, but he's not expected to play unless either Jake Oettinger or Anton Khudobin suffers an injury.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Landon Bow: Returned to taxi squad
Bow was reassigned to Dallas' taxi squad Friday. Bow will continue to serve as the Stars' emergency option in goal until Ben Bishop (knee) is ready to make his season debut. The 25-year-old backstop hasn't appeared in an NHL contest since 2018-19.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Landon Bow: Shifts to taxi squad
Bow was designated for the taxi squad Monday, Bruce LeVine of Dallas Stars Radio reports. Anton Khudobin was benched for Sunday's game against the Blackhawks because he was late for a meeting, so Bow suited up as the backup. Khudobin will return to Tuesday's rematch against the Blackhawks. In turn, Bow will return to the taxi squad, where he can still practice and travel with the team.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Landon Bow: In line for backup duties
Bow will be activated from the taxi squad and serve as the backup in Sunday's game against the Blackhawks, Matthew DeFranks of The Dallas Morning News reports. Anton Khudobin has been benched for disciplinary purposes, so Jake Oettinger will start Sunday's game while Bow serves as the backup. It's unclear how long Khudobin will be out. Bow figures to stay on the active roster until he returns.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Landon Bow: Gets taxi squad shot
The Stars added Bow to the taxi squad Thursday, Matthew DeFranks of The Dallas Morning News reports. Bow returned to the Stars this offseason despite not receiving a qualifying offer. The 25-year-old goalie went 12-11-3 with a 3.31 GAA and an .895 save percentage in 30 appearances with AHL Texas last season. Expect Bow to spend most of his time between the minors and the taxi squad this season, so he shouldn't be on fantasy radars.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Landon Bow: Returns to Stars organization
Bow signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Stars on Friday, Sean Shapiro of The Athletic reports. Bow did not receive a qualifying offer earlier in October, but he was able to negotiate a deal to remain in the Stars' organization. The 25-year-old goalie went 12-11-3 with a 3.31 GAA and an .895 save percentage in 30 appearances with AHL Texas last season. Fantasy managers shouldn't give Bow much consideration, as he is fourth on the Stars' netminding depth chart, at best. He'll most likely challenge Jake Oettinger for playing time in the minors next season.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Landon Bow: Tending twine Tuesday
Bow will start in goal for the first two periods of Tuesday's exhibition matchup with Minnesota, Sean Shapiro of The Athletic reports. Bow saw very limited action at the top level last season, as he only appeared in two games, making 18 of 19 possible saves over his short time on the ice. The Stars didn't waste any time this offseason getting the 24-year-old under contract to provide depth behind Ben Bishop and Anton Khudobin.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Landon Bow: Re-signs with Dallas
Bow signed a one-year, two-way contract extension with the Stars on Monday. The Stars didn't waste any time getting Bow under contract as an insurance option behind Ben Bishop and Anton Khudobin. A towering backstop listed at 6-foot-5, Bow is looking to gain more experience at the top level, as he's only made a pair of top-level appearances to date. Certainly, the Canadian is on the right track in his development, but fantasy owners might be put off by the 2.89 GAA and .893 save percentage that Bow carried through 46 games for AHL Texas last year.... Stars' Landon Bow: Gets qualifying offer
Bow was issued a qualifying offer from the Stars on Tuesday. Bow was solid in is two appearances at the NHL level while starter Ben Bishop dealt with injury, going without a decision, but only allowed one goal on 19 shots faced. The netminder will receive an offer of $708,750 to stay with the Stars next season, and could get called up at some point in the season with an aging Anton Khudobin and the aforementioned injury-prone Bishop on the roster ahead of him.... Stars' Landon Bow: Added to NHL roster
Bow was recalled from AHL Texas on Thursday. This move was made because Ben Bishop sustained a lower-body injury in Wednesday's game against the Flames. Listed at 6-foot-5 and 209 pounds, Bow has drawn into two NHL contests this season, stopping 18 of 19 shots between the Penguins and Lightning. He's gone 24-15-3 with a 2.89 GAA and .893 save percentage for AHL Texas this season.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Landon Bow: Promoted to parent club
Bow was recalled to Dallas on Friday, Sean Shapiro of The Athletic reports. The transaction likely means that Ben Bishop (lower body) will not be available for Friday's game against the Golden Knights. In 42 games with AHL Texas, Bow holds a 22-13-5 record while posting a 2.90 GAA and .893 save percentage. The Alberta native is shaping up as the backup behind Anton Khudobin for Friday's matchup.... Stars' Landon Bow: Skips back to AHL
Bow was reassigned to AHL Texas on Thursday, Mark Stepneski of the Stars' official site reports. Bow was the odd man out following news that Ben Bishop (upper body) will dress as the backup to Anton Khudobin for Thursday's game against the Blues. At 6-foot-5 and 210 pounds, Bow has an ideal build for an NHL goalie, but his lack of experience (two games) at the top level makes him the logical choice for additional service time in the minors.... Stars' Landon Bow: Emergency recalled
Bow was called up from AHL Texas under emergency conditions Thursday. With Ben Bishop dealing with an undisclosed injury, the Stars are bringing in Bow to serve as the backup behind Anton Khudobin for Thursday's clash with Nashville. Once Bishop is at least healthy enough to serve as the backup, Bow will head right back down to the minors, and he's unlikely to see any ice time during this current stint in the NHL.... See More ... Stars' Landon Bow: Reassigned to minors
Bow was demoted to AHL Texas on Thursday. Bow made one relief appearance during his stint in the NHL, in which he stopped all 14 of the shots he faced. It's unclear if the move to reassign Bow means Ben Bishop (lower body) is ready to be activated off injured reserve ahead of Saturday's matchup with Vancouver or if the club simply wants to give Bow the start versus AHL Milwaukee on Friday and will recall him afterwards.... Stars' Landon Bow: Makes NHL debut in relief
Bow made his NHL debut in a relief appearance versus the Penguins on Wednesday. Bow -- who was called up due to the injury to Ben Bishop (upper body) -- was brought in after Anton Khudobin was given the hook in the second period, stopping all 14 shots he faced. In 12 minor-league appearances this year for AHL Texas, the 23-year-old netminder is 6-3-1 with a 2.81 GAA. With a back-to-back on the horizon, the Alberta native should get his first start versus Ottawa or Colorado on Friday or Saturday respectively.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Landon Bow: Sent back to AHL
Bow was sent down to AHL Texas after a very brief NHL stint, Mark Stepneski of the Stars' official site reports. Bow was called up with Ben Bishop's uncertain health status after taking a puck to the facemask. However, with Bishop slated to start Monday, Bow will head back down to the AHL to get more work. The 22-year-old goalie has yet to make an NHL appearance and likely won't get that chance this season.... See More ... See Less
