Clara posted a 25-save shutout in AHL San Diego's 2-0 win over Henderson on Saturday.
This is Clara's first AHL shutout. The 21-year-old netminder has gone 1-0-1 with five goals allowed on 58 shots to open the season. The Italian netminder should see steady usage in the AHL this year after primarily playing on loans in Sweden and Finland over the last three years.

Clara was recalled from AHL San Diego by the Ducks on Sunday, per the AHL transaction log.
With AHL San Diego officially eliminated from the Calder Cup playoffs, the Ducks will likely start to call some guys up to serve as their Black Aces. Clara appears to be one of those players. The 21-year-old spent much of the season on loan to the SHL's Brynas IF, but he returned to North America in time to make three regular-season starts and also both of San Diego's playoff games.
