Sennecke scored a goal in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Golden Knights in Game 2. The Ducks made some changes to their forward combinations in this game, dropping Sennecke to the third line. Sennecke has emerged with some multi-category appeal as well with 82 shots, 41 hits, 32 PIM and a minus-2 rating over 41 appearances. Avoiding the rookie wall will be the big challenge in the second half, especially since the Ducks' late-December lull has continued into January.

Sennecke also became the first NHL rookie to score a game-tying goal in the final second of regulation while shorthanded. He has 26 points, including 10 goals, in 30 games, and he's the first rookie to hit the 25-point mark this season. Those 10 goals also make him the third Ducks rookie to have 10 or more goals through 30 games in a season, putting him on a list with Bobby Ryan (14 goals; 2008-09) and Paul Kariya (12 goals; 1994-95).

The 19-year-old has maintained steady second-line usage even after his hot start faded. He's a rookie, so there will be some ups and downs, but Sennecke is looking very capable in his first taste of NHL action. He has four goals, three assists, 21 shots on net, 12 hits and a minus-4 rating across 11 appearances.

  • Ducks' Beckett Sennecke: One of each in wild win

Sennecke scored a goal on five shots, dished an assist, logged two hits and went minus-2 in Saturday's 7-6 overtime win over the Sharks. So far, so good for Sennecke -- he's at two goals and an assist over his first two NHL games. He hasn't looked out of place as a top-six winger, and the start of his audition for a full-time gig with the Ducks is going well. He's also chipped in five hits and eight shots. Fantasy managers could do worse in terms of a speculative addition. Sennecke's performance could be integral in the Ducks' improvement in 2025-26 if his offensive production continues at a steady pace.
