Basha didn't click in the AHL this season, but he's earned three goals and eight helpers over six outings since rejoining Medicine Hat's loaded roster. The Flames prospect, a second-round pick from 2024, should have no trouble dominating the junior league before making the full-time professional jump in 2026-27.

Basha already has five points over three games since he was loaned back to the Tigers from AHL Calgary. The 20-year-old winger was limited to five points in 27 AHL games with the Wranglers. He's now with a junior team that has its eyes on a WHL title and then some, and he can make the full-time leap to the professional ranks in 2026-27.

Basha signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Calgary on Sunday.
Basha has one goal and one assist through two games this campaign for WHL Medicine Hat. He had 30 goals and 85 points across 63 WHL contests in 2023-24. Calgary selected the 18-year-old forward with the No. 41 pick in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.
