  • Wild's Jake Lucchini: Scores first goal of season

Lucchini scored a goal on two shots in Wednesday's 2-1 win over the Blackhawks. Lucchini opened the scoring at 12:27 of the first period. That was the 28-year-old's first goal and point in nine appearances with the Wild this season. He could stick in the lineup for a while longer with news of Patrick Maroon (back) undergoing surgery that will keep him out for 4-6 weeks. Nonetheless, Lucchini shouldn't be expected to be useful in fantasy while occupying a fourth-line role.

  • Wild's Jake Lucchini: Sent to AHL

  • Wild's Jake Lucchini: Recalled Saturday

Lucchini was recalled from AHL Iowa on Saturday, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports. Lucchini has played four games with Minnesota this season, averaging 10:25 of ice time without registering a point. The 28-year-old forward will likely serve as a depth option because Frederick Gaudreau's (upper body) status is uncertain for Sunday's matchup against Carolina. Connor Dewar was placed on IR in a corresponding move.

  • Wild's Jake Lucchini: Recalled Tuesday

Lucchini was summoned from AHL Iowa on Tuesday. Lucchini played in the last game before the holiday break with Ryan Hartman (upper body) unavailable. With Lucchini being recalled, Hartman may be questionable to play Wednesday versus the Red Wings. It's also possible Lucchini is with the big club to be a spare forward.

  • Jake Lucchini: Not qualified by Habs

Lucchini will not be handed a qualifying offer by Montreal on Monday and will officially land on free agency, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports. While this does tie him to the organization, Lucchini won't be eligible for any call-ups this year unless the Canadiens give him a two-way deal.
