    Skinner was reassigned to AHL Springfield on Friday. Skinner spent six games with the Blues and was a healthy scratch in five contests. He was a plus-1 with four hits and a blocked shot in his only game played, seeing 10:45 of action versus the Flyers on Nov. 14. Skinner had one goal and one assist in 11 AHL appearances before his recall.

    Skinner was placed on waivers by the Blues on Sunday, Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic reports. Skinner joined the Blues on a two-way deal during the offseason, but he'll be left off the team's Opening Night roster ahead of the 2025-26 campaign. He hasn't yet made his regular-season debut in the NHL and will likely head to AHL Springfield if he clears waivers.

  • Blues' Hunter Skinner: Receives two-way contract

    Skinner signed a one-year, $775,000 contract with St. Louis on Sunday, PuckPedia reports. This is a two-way deal for Skinner. The 24-year-old defenseman logged eight goals, 23 points, 98 PIM and a plus-2 rating over 71 regular-season appearances with AHL Springfield in 2024-25. A fourth-round selection by the Rangers in 2019, Skinner has yet to make his NHL debut, so he'll provide organizational depth for St. Louis this coming season.
