  • Kings' Jordan Spence: Earns first multi-point game

Spence supplied two assists, three shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Wednesday's 9-3 loss to the Avalanche. Spence helped out on tallies by Alex Iafallo and Phillip Danault in the contest. This was Spence's first two-point effort as an NHLer. The 21-year-old defenseman has settled in well so far with eight points, 30 shots on net, 28 hits and a minus-2 rating in 18 appearances. He should continue to see bottom-four minutes and some power-play time to finish the season.

  • Kings' Jordan Spence: Logs power-play helper

Spence produced a power-play assist and three shots on goal in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Jets. Spence's shot was judged to have been tipped in by Gabriel Vilardi for the Kings' third tally of the game. The helper ended Spence's three-game point drought. The rookie defenseman has been solid in a top-four role while the Kings deal with injuries to more experienced blueliners. He's at five points, 22 shots on net, 23 hits, 15 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating through 13 appearances.

The 21-year-old blueliner scored his first NHL goal at 15:47 of the second period, and it stood as the game-winner. Spence has four points, 15 shots on net, 18 hits and a plus-1 rating through nine outings.

Spence posted a power-play assist, three blocked shots, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 6-1 win over the Predators. Spence has stepped right into a top-four role with the Kings missing nearly all of their Opening Night defensemen to injury. The 21-year-old has three helpers, 10 shots on net, a plus-1 rating, 14 hits and 10 blocked shots through seven appearances this season while logging over 21 minutes of ice time per game. He'll continue to see a significant role with power-play usage until the Kings can get some blueliners back.
