PHILADELPHIA (AP) Ryan Betley scored a career-high 22 points on 5-for-10 shooting from 3-point range and Matt Howard finished with 11 points and 12 rebounds and Pennsylvania defeated Cornell 82-63 on Sunday for its second-straight win.

Penn (8-12, 1-6 Ivy League) built a 20-5 lead and was never challenged. Cornell shot 5 for 23 (21.7 percent) in the first half and committed 15 turnovers. The Quakers shot 16 for 29 (55 percent) before the break and led 42-14 at halftime.

The Quakers collected 14 steals and outscored Cornell (6-17, 2-6) 34-22 in the paint. Penn's bench outscored Cornell's by a 26-2 margin. AJ Brodeur scored 15 points on 7-for-10 shooting, and Devon Goodman had 13 points before fouling out.

Robert Hatter led the Big Red with 22 points, Stone Gettings had 21 points, seven rebounds, and five assists, and Matt Morgan had 12 points for Cornell.
