BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) Pat Andree scored 19 points and James Karnik had a career-high 16 points with 12 rebounds for his third double-double this season in leading Lehigh Mountain Hawks over American Eagles 76-66 on Sunday.
Lance Tejada added 13 points and Kyle Leufroy 10 for the Mountain Hawks (8-9, 3-3 Patriot League), who made 21 of 23 free throws in snapping a two-game skid.
Sa'eed Nelson scored 16 points, Larry Motuzis had 14 points and 12 rebounds for his first double-double this season with Cheikh Diallo adding 13 points and Marvin Bragg 10 for the Eagles (4-13, 1-5), who made 12 of 32 from the arc.
Lehigh had a 12-0 run on its way to a 35-23 advantage at halftime. The Mountain Hawks kept the lead in the second half though the Eagles got within five with a pair of 3-pointers in the final minute before Andree and Jordan Cohen hit two free throws each.
