WATCH: Texas-Arlington, which could break your bracket in March, wins on huge 3
You do not want your team playing UT-Arlington if the Mavericks make the Big Dance
Believe me, Texas-Arlington will be one of the truly dangerous double-digit seeds if indeed the Mavericks make this seasonâs NCAA Tournament. This squad has already downed Texas and Saint Maryâs -- both of those games on the road -- and now itâs 10-3 in the Sun Belt, 20-6 overall.
The Mavericks are a No. 12 seed in Jerry Palmâs latest bracket. You might not know a guy on the team, but it is one of the best mid-major outfits this season.
On Saturday, the Mavs stole a victory with a dagger of a 3-pointer in the final seconds of their road game at Georgia State. Junior point guard Erick Neal went full ONIONS! with this winner. Check out the reaction.

Feeling like March in a hurry here. Hereâs the irony with this ending: Georgia State coach Ron Hunter was on the receiving end of a killer 3 from deep.
He knows something about this.
It was his son, R.J., who popped a deeeeep 3 just two years ago to give GSU the upset over Baylor and in the process produce one of the unforgettable moments in tournament history. Hunter off his stool!
