National Signing Day 2022 tracker: College football recruiting rankings for 2023 early signing period
The biggest commitments and news-making stories from the first National Signing Day for the 2023 class
The first opportunity for high school prospects to lock up scholarships and formally sign National Letters of Intent began Wednesday with the vast majority of the Class of 2023 inking with their respective programs at the onset of the three-day early signing period. Ceremonies were held, hats were picked and (many) coaches were smiling as they looked at the culmination of years of hard work trying to convince a teenager to make a decision. (Anyone with children knows how hard that can be.)
However, while the first National Signing Day may be complete, the recruiting cycle never stops. In fact, there are top-100 prospects scheduled to make commitment announcements on Thursday, and the traditional National Signing Day in February will round out classes for every team in the nation. In between, teams will continue recruiting players out of the transfer portal. So, if your school's class isn't where you want it to be yet, don't worry. There's still time.
