Reports: Vic Koenning out as North Carolina's defensive coordinator
North Carolina's defense ranked last in the ACC in yards per game and yards per play.

North Carolina defensive coordinator/associate head coach Vic Koenning will not return to coach on Larry Fedora's staff in 2015, according to multiple reports.
Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman and 247Sports' Ross Martin are both reporting that Koenning is out, with Feldman adding that the longtime defensive assistant, and one-time head coach at Wyoming, could end up Neal Brown's staff at Troy.
Vic Koenning is out as assoc. head coach for defense at #UNC, per source. Wouldn't be surprised to see him re-surface w Neal Brown at #Troy
