Trey Griffey scores 95-yard TD on his father Ken Griffey Jr.'s birthday
Arizona wide receiver Trey Griffey turned a short pass into a 95-yard touchdown. It also happened to be his dad's birthday.

Ken Griffey Jr. turned 46 years old on Saturday. His son, Trey Griffey, decided to celebrate his dad's birthday by ripping off a 95-yard touchdown for Arizona, though the Wildcats eventually fell to Arizona State 52-37.
Griffey, a wide receiver, turned a 10-yard gain into a touchdown by using a combination of speed and vision. After catching the short pass near the left sideline, Griffey slanted toward the middle of the field. But instead of continuing toward the right sideline, Griffey cut back to the left around midfield.
He ended up winning the race to the end zone by reaching max-extension at the pylon, giving his dad the perfect birthday present.
Griffey recorded just two catches, but he racked up 138 yards, averaging 69 yards per catch. So yeah, I guess you could say Griffey hit a pair of home runs on Saturday.
