Miami defeated Notre Dame, 27-24, in its opener before scoring 45 points against  Bethune-Cookman last week. Mark Fletcher Jr., who rushed for 607 yards last year as Miami's RB2, has 152 yards on 5.8 yards per carry to begin the season. Meanwhile, South Florida has already proven it can keep up with some of the top programs in college football, knocking off Florida, 18-16, last weekend. Three-year starting quarterback Byrum Brown has the playmaking ability to create offense, and No. 5 Miami is a different beast than even Florida. South Florida will need to score to keep up, and Miami should be taking South Florida seriously after it upset a state power last weekend, leading the model to project the Over to hit in 69% of simulations in a 4:30 p.m. ET start.

Florida vs. LSU Over 47.5 total points (-110)

Speaking of that Florida vs. South Florida loss for the Gators, massive upsets often occur when a team is either coming off or about to play one of the biggest games on the schedule, and that's the case with Florida set to play LSU this weekend. Maybe the Gators underestimated South Florida and looked past them to start scheming for LSU, but regardless, there should be a focused effort from Florida after its in-state loss that weekend. The Gators scored 55 points in their season opener, and LSU is coming off a 23-7 win over Louisiana Tech. Florida vs. LSU has gone Over this total in five of their last six matchups, and the model projects the Over to hit in 68% of simulations in a 7:30 p.m. ET start.

Ole Miss (-5.5) vs. Arkansas (-105)

Running back Kewan Lacy was crucial for Ole Miss last weekend, rushing for 138 yards and a touchdown on 28 carries in Ole Miss' 30-27 road victory over Kentucky. Quarterback Austin Simmons threw for 235 yards with three passes of more than 20 yards. He's thrown four intereceptions over his first two games, so he'll need to cut those down against a team like Arkansas, but he also threw for 341 yards and three touchdowns in the Rebels' 63-7 win over Georgia State in their opener. Lane Kiffin has rebuilt Ole Miss into a consistent winner, with Ole Miss coming off a 10-3 season to finish No. 14 in the country. The Rebels dominated Arkansas in a 63-31 victory on the road last season, leading the model to project Ole Miss to cover the spread in 62% of simulations in a 7 p.m. ET start.
