Brown (concussion) was listed as a limited participant in Tuesday's walkthrough practice, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Brown continues to work his way through the five-step concussion protocol. He'll need to resume practicing without restrictions and gain full medical clearance, including from an independent neurologist, in order to be eligible to suit up for Sunday's wild-card round matchup against the Rams.

Brown (concussion) has been ruled out for the remainder of Saturday's game against the Buccaneers, Sheena Quick of Fox Sports Radio 1340 reports.
Brown exited the game in the second quarter after suffering a head injury, which has been confirmed to be a concussion. The defensive end will now enter the league's five-step concussion protocol. The 2021 fourth-round pick from Texas A&M will join the Panthers after spending the first four years of his career with the Rams. Brown had a career year in 2024, recording 44 total tackles and one pass defended across 17 regular-season appearances (16 starts). He's the third free-agent defender the Panthers have added Monday, joining safety Tre'von Moehrig and defensive end Pat Jones. Brown will look to fortify a Carolina defensive line that allowed the most yards per carry (5.2) in the NFL in 2024.
