Jonathan Garvin: Gets waived from Bears' IR
Chicago waived Garvin (undisclosed) from its injured reserve list Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Garvin went to the Bears' injured reserve list back in August with an undisclosed injury, and now the team has decided to cut ties with him entirely. Assuming he's not claimed by another club during the current waiver period, he's in line to become a free agent.

Packers' Jonathan Garvin: Tests positive for COVID-19
Garvin has tested positive for COVID-19, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.
Garvin landed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday and has apparently tested positive for the virus. It's not yet clear whether the linebacker is vaccinated, but he appears unlikely to suit up for Sunday's game against the Rams. If he's ultimately inactive, Tipa Galeai could see an increased snap count since the Packers' outside linebackers are banged up ahead of Week 12.

The Packers selected Garvin in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft, 242nd overall.
