Ty Scott: Let go from practice squad
The Seahawks cut Scott from the practice squad Friday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Scott spent training camp with Seattle, but he's now been removed from the practice squad to make room for outside linebacker Jamie Sheriff. The 25-year-old will now likely have to search for a similar reserve role elsewhere in the league.

Ty Scott: Gets second opportunity
Scott signed with the Seahawks' practice squad Tuesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Scott spent training camp in Seattle but was unable to secure a roster spot. He'll now have another chance with the franchise and work to find a more prominent role on the roster.

Ty Scott: Dropped on cutdown day
Scott was waived by the Seahawks on Tuesday.
Scott signed with the Chiefs in May of 2023 as an undrafted free agent out of Missouri State. However, he was released ahead of last regular season and went unsigned before joining up with Seattle on July 25. The 25-year-old will now hit waivers for the third time in his career.
