AJ Ramos: Back on open market

The Angels released Ramos (shoulder) on Tuesday.

Ramos suffered a torn capsule in his right shoulder last month and won't be available to pitch in 2022, so his release doesn't come as a major surprise. Given that he's 35 years old and has made only seven relief appearances in the majors since undergoing surgery in June 2018 to address a torn labrum, Ramos' playing days could be over.
