Angels' Huston Street: Transferred to 60-day DL

Street (groin) was transferred to the 60-day DL on Tuesday.

This does not change Street's return timetable, as he is not eligible to return until Sept. 1 and is still working through a throwing program. Eric Young's contract was selected, so the Angels needed to clear a spot on the 40-man roster. Street is unlikely to provide much fantasy value down the stretch, even if he returns in early September. Cam Bedrosian and Blake Parker figure to handle the ninth-inning duties over the rest of the season.
