Adell was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake by the Angels on Saturday.
Adell heads down to Triple-A after Hunter Renfroe was reinstated from the paternity list by the Angels on Saturday. Adell has crushed Triple-A pitching, but he will likely need an injury or trade in order to get another chance at consistent MLB playing time in 2023.
