Joseph went 1-for-5 with a home run, two RBI and a run scored Sunday against the Red Sox.
Joseph drew the start behind the plate and took advantage by leading off the third inning with a solo home run. It was his first long ball of the season, as he was recalled by the Blue Jays on Saturday. He should serve as the team's backup catcher behind Danny Jansen.
