Springer is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Rangers.
Springer will get a breather Sunday after going 3-for-10 with two stolen bases and two runs scored in the first two games of the series. Since the beginning of July, Springer is slashing .272/.322/.531 with five home runs, 15 RBI and 15 runs scored across 87 plate appearances. Addison Barger will start in right field and bat seventh against Rangers right-hander Jon Gray.
