Braves' Jesse Biddle: Designated for assignment

Biddle was designated for assignment Monday.

Biddle spent a month in Atlanta's bullpen, and the team has evidently seen enough. He allowed 10 runs in 10.2 innings, striking out 11 while walking eight. The fact that he throws left-handed could earn him another look elsewhere, but he now owns an 8.24 ERA in 39.1 innings across the last three seasons.
