The Brewers transferred Ruf (knee) from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Monday.
The right knee laceration Ruf sustained last Friday when he collided with the tarp evidently must have been a serious one. As a result of his move to the 60-day IL, Ruf won't be eligible for activation until early August.
