Cardinals' Kramer Robertson: Returns to minors

The Cardinals optioned Robertson to Triple-A Memphis on Thursday.

The 27-year-old's first stint in the majors lasted all of two days, as the Cardinals elected to move him off the 26-man active roster with fellow infielder Edmundo Sosa (illness) returning from the COVID-19 injured list in advance of Thursday's series finale with the Orioles. Robertson was at least able to come away with his first career RBI in Wednesday's 10-1 loss to Baltimore.
