Hu was released by Cleveland on Tuesday.

Hu owns a 7.18 ERA in 57.2 innings across the two highest levels of the minors this season, striking out just 19.3 percent of opposing batters. He could still generate some interest as a free agent thanks to his 3.52 ERA in 23 career big-league innings.
