Clint Frazier: Signs with independent team

Frazier signed a contract with the Charleston Dirty Birds of the Atlantic League on Thursday.

He's taking the roster spot vacated by Drew Ellis, who inked a minor-league deal with the Angels. Frazier, 29, played in 33 games with the White Sox last season, producing just a .545 OPS.
