Cubs' Jonathan Holder: Comes off 60-day IL

Triple-A Iowa reinstated Holder (undisclosed) from the 60-day injured list Thursday.

Holder made his season debut for Iowa on Friday, working one inning out of the bullpen while allowing one earned run on two hits. The 29-year-old has previously made 157 appearances in the big leagues, but he doesn't possess a spot on the Cubs' 40-man roster and is unlikely to surface in the majors in 2022.
