Tauchman isn't in the Cubs' lineup Tuesday against Philadelphia, Maddie Lee of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
With lefty Ranger Suarez set to take the mound for Philadelphia, Tauchman will remain on the Cubs' bench to start Tuesday's contest. Christopher Morel will take Tauchman's place in center field and Trey Mancini will serve as Chicago's designated hitter while batting sixth.
