Diamondbacks' Pavin Smith: Drives in three in return

Smith went 2-for-5 with three RBI in Thursday's loss to San Francisco.

Smith (undisclosed), who was activated from the COVID-19 injured list earlier in the day, stroked a two-run single in the first inning and added an RBI single in the third for his first multi-RBI game since June 16. The 25-year-old Smith has established himself as a regular in the Arizona lineup, slashing .271/.331/.422 with nine home runs and 35 RBI in 384 plate appearances. He's added 20 doubles and three triples.
