Dodgers' Chris Taylor: Nearing return to majors

Taylor (groin) is nearing a return to the major-league roster, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Taylor started a rehab assignment with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday, going 4-for-11 with two doubles, an RBI and two runs scored over three games to this point. The 33-year-old is working his way back from a left groin strain that landed him on the 10-day injured list July 25, but he could be active "within the week" according to manager Dave Roberts.
