Outman was added to the Dodgers' 40-man roster Friday, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.
A 24-year-old outfielder with a nice blend of power, speed and defense, Outman hit .289/.369/.518 with nine home runs and two steals in 39 games at Double-A to close the year. He should spend most, if not all of next season in the upper levels of the minors.
