Quackenbush allowed one run on three hits while striking out one batter over one-third of an inning Sunday versus the Angels.
The right-hander's first appearance with his new club was less than ideal. He struck out Max Stassi to lead off the eighth inning but then gave up three straight hits, including a Jo Adell RBI double. However, he was rescued from an uglier final stat line when Justin Bruihl came in and retired two batters to keep any additional runs from scoring. The outing was Quackenbush's first big-league appearance since 2018, so it's not entirely surprising that he exhibited obvious rust.
