Evan Marshall: Becomes free agent

Marshall (elbow) will enter free agency, LaMond Pope of the Chicago Tribune reports.

The righty will miss all of 2022 after undergoing Tommy John surgery, so he figures to remain a free agent until next offseason. Time will tell whether Marshall, turning 33 early in the 2023 season, will return from surgery to be an impactful MLB reliever again.
