Guardians' Tyler Naquin: Signs with Cleveland as pitcher

The Guardians signed Naquin to a minor-league contract Thursday.

The most interesting part is that they're signing him to be a pitcher, as Naquin is attempting a position change after eight major-league seasons as an outfielder. Naquin, who turns 34 in April, ranked in the 94th percentile in arm strength during his last full big-league season in 2022.
