McGraw (elbow) has made two starts for Single-A Modesto since being reinstated from the 60-day injured list Aug. 4, striking out five batters over 3.2 innings while allowing two earned runs on four hits and three walks.

McGraw had spent the entire 2024 campaign on the IL for the Mariners' rookie-level Arizona Complex League affiliate, but with the ACL season coming to an end in late July, he was moved up to Single-A for his professional debut. A third-round draft pick in 2023, McGraw didn't pitch at all last summer while he recovered from the internal brace procedure on his elbow he had underwent earlier that spring during his time at Wake Forest. The right-hander looks to be healthy again, but he could need some time to hone his command and control while he works his way back from the second major elbow operation of his career. He previously underwent Tommy John surgery in 2019.
