Mariners' Will Klein: Dropped from 40-man roster

The Mariners designated Klein for assignment Saturday.

The move makes room on the 40-man roster for infielder Cole Young, whose contract was selected from Triple-A Tacoma. Klein has spent the entire season in Triple-A and has struggled with a 7.40 ERA, 2.03 WHIP and 32:18 K:BB across 20.2 innings.
