Sierra was outrighted to Triple-A Jacksonville on Wednesday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Sierra saw inconsistent playing time with the major-league club in 2021 and will now lose his spot on the 40-man roster. Across 123 games with the Marlins last year, he hit .230 with 27 runs, five RBI and 11 stolen bases.
