Prado has been diagnosed with a strained hamstring and will return to Marlins camp for further testing, MLB.com's Joe Frisaro reports.
The club believes Prado's injury is minor, but won't take any chances with the 33-year-old veteran, who was signed to a new, three-year deal in September. He had been playing for Venezuela in the World Baseball Classic, but Prado's stint with the national team may be short-lived, depending on the test results. Consider him day-to-day moving forward.
