Marlins' Nick Gordon: Exits starting nine

Gordon is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's contest versus the Mets.

Gordon has yet to make a start versus a left-hander this season and will begin Wednesday's game on the bench as the Mets send southpaw David Peterson to the bump. Bryan De La Cruz will replace Gordon in left field.
