Marlins' Riley Ferrell: Placed on 60-day injured list

Ferrell (biceps) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Saturday.

Ferrell has been dealing with biceps tendinitis since late March, though he recently resumed throwing. His timeline is unclear, but he now won't be eligible to return until late May. He'll make way on the 40-man roster for Jon Berti, whose contract was purchased in a corresponding move.
