Nimmo left Saturday's game against Atlanta with right intercostal irritation, Jorge Castillo of ESPN.com reports.
Nimmo went 0-for-1 with a walk before exiting after the fourth inning. He suffered the injury on a checked swing and may undergo further tests after the game. Tyrone Taylor replaced Nimmo in left field.
